“If I had the opportunity to participate in another Erasmus project, I would definitely go. I liked the school the most, because I managed to make friends with two students there, and I saw how sociable and involved the Turkish students were. I was very impressed by the fact that every time I went to school, the Turkish students and teachers made us feel at home, even offering us a specific Turkish meal, and always being attentive to our needs. This experience helped me grow up more without realizing it and taught me how to manage money much better, make friends with Turkish students and also Romanian students participating in this Erasmus+ project.”

During my Erasmus experience, I had the opportunity to learn about the Turkish culture by visiting spectacular mosques and the Dolmabahce Palace. My Erasmus experience made me feel challenged, as I had many new things to do every day, but also excited because it was my first time visiting Turkey, and I was surrounded by lovely people who made me feel like home.”

“I really enjoyed the hospitality of the people in Istanbul. They were so welcoming and open, especially considering that we were from a completely different country with a different culture. I was really impressed by how big and diverse the city felt. Everywhere I went, there was something new and unique to discover, whether it was in the streets, the architecture, or the people. I also learned how to negotiate while I was in Istanbul. The local markets were full of opportunities to practise, and I quickly picked up some tricks to get better deals!”

“The experience in Istanbul was amazing, from the beginning to the end. The most impressive thing was the cruise on the Bosphorus at night, even the fact that on that cruise you were in-between Europe and Asia was mind blowing, you could see lights everywhere and it was such a beautiful view. In this experience I can say I learned to be more sociable and talkative, I even learned about new historical monuments and cultural traditions, also I learned some words in their language. I can say it was the best experience in my life and I will never forget about it, I hope I will experience something like this again in the future, probably it will not be the same but who knows. Thank you for letting me experience this and for the memories that will remain forever.”
